Sacred Kulen Trails Moto Ride
A backroads journey to jungle temples and jungle-carved elephants only reachable by motorbike
Hop on the back of a motorbike with a local guide and ride deep into the Phnom Kulen highlands, far beyond where tour buses and paved roads can reach. Carved into jungle cliffs and tangled in roots, ancient temples, stone carvings, and sacred sites reveal themselves along hidden trails. This is not the typical tourist route but a raw, unforgettable adventure into Cambodia’s spiritual heart.
Description
This rugged motorbike tour begins with a hotel pickup in Siem Reap and a scenic drive to the base of Phnom Kulen. From there, you’ll ride on the back of a local’s moto deep into the jungle. The route follows red dirt trails and unmarked paths to five remote spiritual sites, including the famous Elephant Pond (Srah Damrei), hidden temples, and a dramatic sandstone cliff with sweeping forest views.
You’ll see a side of Cambodia that remains invisible from the road, the one locals know, monks walk, and history left behind. At the end of the loop, you may choose to refresh in a waterfall pool or visit the mystical Thousand Lingas riverbed, depending on your energy and curiosity
