Description
The reflection pool holds the last of the dark as you arrive. Your guide positions you just off the main crowd as sunrise breaks. Inside, the bas-reliefs come into view in the early light, before the heat builds.
By mid-morning you move through Angkor Thom, past Bayon’s stone faces and into quieter corners most tours skip. A midday break keeps the pace comfortable, then the day closes on the water with a private boat ride as the light drops behind the trees.
