Pedal Through Time in Angkor and Siem Reap

Group of cyclists posing with their bikes in front of an ancient stone gate at Angkor, Cambodia, during a guided temple bike tour

A two day cycling journey through temples jungle backroads and modern Cambodian culture

This two-day experience takes you beyond the typical temple circuit — combining forest trails, ancient ruins, modern history, and vibrant city life. Ride through peaceful backroads, meet local monks, discover cinematic temples, and end with a front-row seat at Cambodia’s most electrifying circus performance.

Description

Start your adventure with a tuk-tuk drop-off at Bayon, where mysterious stone faces greet you in silence. Cycle through lush Angkor parkland, passing jungle ruins, rice paddies, and local pagodas — each telling its own story. Stand atop the royal cremation temple of Pre Rup and end your morning at Wat Thmei, where Cambodia’s more recent history is honored.

Your afternoons are equally rich: one spent unraveling the symbolism of Angkor Wat and cruising at sunset; the next filled with modern Cambodian experiences — city walking, riverside temples, dinner at a standout Khmer restaurant, and a night under the lights at Phare Circus.
